Welcome to My-Recipe-Journal!

As the main cook for my family of five, I am always looking for ways to improve my cooking skills, keep my family healthy and make family meal-times more enjoyable. 

I'll be honest with you - my own home recipe journal is a bit sparse - it needs more recipes in it! I'm not a trained chef, just a mum who is learning as I go along. That's what I hope to fix through this blog: Fill my recipe journal with tried and tested recipes that are family friendly, affordable and achievable for a home-cook like me.

But I'm going to need your help.

I will post my own cooking discoveries here on this blog, along with recipes, hints and tips that are sent in from home cooks across the world. I'd like to imagine this space will become a smorgasboard of inspiration for all of us.
